Board Member Eligibility & Application

The Michigan Relocation Council (MiRC) has FIVE (5) 2025 open Board of Director positions and we are now accepting applications.

To be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors:

·    The applicant must have been an active member for the year prior (2024)

·    Be a member in good standing at the time of election and must maintain such membership for the term of service.

·    If you are a service provider member, dues must be current now and throughout the term. 

The term for a Board of Director member shall commerce on January 1st and run for three (3) years. 

When applying for a Board position, you must agree to the following statements:

·    I understand the time commitment needed for a 3-year board term.

·    I have support of my employer to take on this responsibility.

·    I understand the expectation that I will be available for calls, meetings, and projects throughout the 3-year term.

·    I agree that this is a volunteer unpaid position.

All applications are due by Friday, November 1st.

Once all applicant information has been gathered each nominee will be presented to the membership for approval/election via email.  New board members will be announced at our Holiday Meeting on December 5th.
